About the University SCUBA Club

   The University SCUBA Club at UT Austin is a group of UT Austin students, staff, and alumni who dive and promote diving in and around central Texas. Founded in 1964 and originally named the University of Texas Skin and SCUBA Diving Society, it is the oldest college diving club in the United States. The club typically dives every other week/weekend in and around Austin. Club meetings are held every other Thursday on campus. Please check the calendar for more details.

   Everyone is invited to dive with the club regardless of your level of experience. If you're beginner join our facebook group, come to a meeting, and find out how to get started (we get discounts). If you're an experienced diver join the facebook group and join the club to meet new dive buddies and find out about diving opportunities in Texas. Although official club membership is restricted to UT affiliates we invite everyone to all of our dives/parties.
